CERTIFICATION PROCESS
This is an International Coaching Certification Program. Participation does not guarantee ICC accreditation. You must demonstrate the necessary skills and complete the assignments required.
This Cohort Certificate Program, recognized by the International Coaching Community (ICC), requires participants to successfully complete 72 hours of instructor lead training, delivered by Certified Coach Trainers. Participants must fulfill practicum experience requirements identified under "Certification Credit" below.
Participants must have a 100% attendance record; participate in required distance learning components which are scheduled webinar sessions; achieve a satisfactory rating in a final observed coaching session, and receive a satisfactory grade on the final exam.
Coaching projects (peer and client) are a vital part of the commitments necessary to fulfill coaching requirements. Coaches must maintain professional ICC standards and ethics.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and professional experience.
Resume reflecting minimum 7 years organizational experience, or an organizational assignment that requires coaching skills.
CREDITS FOR CERTIFICATION
Completion of 2 foundation intensive module courses, four days each.
Satisfactory passing of exam
Self-Coaching Project
Completion and delivery of two Coaching project assignments.
Participation in peer coaching assignments and assessments.
Use of assessment instruments and data in the coaching cycle.
Participation in four web-based instruction delivered by instructors.
Completion of written assignments, book reviews, and reports assigned by the trainer.
Review of concepts, readings, and tasks.
Has completely followed the certification process.
Demonstrates mastery of coaching skills, standards, and ethics.
Class Size Limited– Please note that each cohort is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
Our goal is that participants can effectively and consistently coach with proficiency in all
ICC core competencies which are consistent with ICF competencies. We expect that coaches will be responsible caring professionals committed to the success of their clients.
